New Delhi: Interesting views of cricket were seen in the third and final ODI between Pakistan and New Zealand on Friday. Batting first, Pakistan scored 280 runs losing 9 wickets in 50 overs. Chasing the target, the New Zealand team got the first blow in the 9th over. Opener Finn Allen was run out after scoring 25 runs. Finn was run out by Pakistan’s substitute fielder Tyeb Tahir with a rocket throw and shown the way to the pavilion.

This sight was seen on the fifth ball of the ninth over. Devon Conway tried to steal a run towards cover off Wasim Junior, but fielder Tayyab Tahir, who was standing here, ran fast and hit the striker’s end with such speed that the stump was uprooted. Before Finn could reach the crease, the direct throw blew him away. Tyeb Tahir was sent into the field as a substitute fielder in place of Zaman after Fakhar Zaman and Haris Sohail were injured. Although Tahir did not play the match, but with his excellent fielding, the New Zealand batsman was stunned.

Who is Tyeb Tahir?
The 29-year-old Tayyab Tahir, a right-handed batsman and known for his leg-break googly, made a place in the team by performing brilliantly in Pakistan’s domestic cricket. He has not made his debut for Pakistan yet. Tahir has scored 2766 runs in 49 First Class matches, 2110 runs in 49 List A matches and 657 runs in 17 T20 matches. He averages over 46 in T20s and over 43 in List A. It has to be seen when this player wears his debut cap.
