In fact, ever since Pathan’s song ‘Besharam Rang’ was released, many Hindu organizations have been talking about boycotting the film. According to people, Deepika has hurt religious sentiments by wearing a saffron colored bikini in the song.
During an interview, KGF actor Anant Nag has spoken on the controversy surrounding this song. He said that the song has nude content which is not a part of Indian culture. Let us inform that Besharam was the first song of Rang Pathan which was released online. The song has been in constant headlines since its release. Giving his views on this, the actor said, “It is not a part of our Indian culture to show women like this. If the censor team had done their job, this would not have happened. Forget about movies, look at OTT content, they show all kinds of raunchy and objectionable stuff. Everything is being shown openly and there is no one to stop them.
He further said, “Indian cinema should stop such nudity content on the big and small screen. Showing things against our culture and tradition will definitely cause conflicts among people.” Let us tell you that the film Pathan, directed by Siddharth Anand, is going to release on January 25, but the path of the film is not looking easy. People have been protesting against the film for several weeks in many states, although the film has been given a UA certificate by the censor board.
