‘Not forced…’, batting coach Vikram Rathod gave this statement on Surya-Ishaan

Regarding Surya, Rathore said- “He has got a lot of potential, he is in great form. It’s great to have him in reserve. Hopefully when the time comes, he will take advantage of that opportunity. It’s great to have such a versatile player in the team.” Regarding the ODI World Cup, Rathour said- “I think 20 matches is enough, if we can shortlist the players, that is the core we are focusing on.

Jadeja expected to return

Rathore said about the lower order – Akshar Patel is batting really well. We have always believed that he has a lot of potential with the bat as well. As far as all-rounders are concerned, we have three guys who can bat well. I am sure Ravindra Jadeja will be back soon, then we have Akshar and Washington Sundar who can bat.
