Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez’s name has been in the news for the Rs 200 crore money laundering case involving gangster Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Today i.e. on January 16, actress Jacqueline Fernandez reached Patiala House Court in Delhi. In fact, Jacqueline had sought permission from the court to go abroad, for which the court has issued a notice to the Enforcement Directorate on the actress’s plea and sought a response.

Judge Shailendra Malik directed the ED to file its reply by January 25 on Jacqueline’s application to go abroad in the last week of the month. Now Jacqueline’s petition will be heard in Patiala House Court on 25 January 2023. Actually, the actress has sought permission to go to Dubai for a day on 29th January. Even before this, Jacqueline had sought permission to visit Bahrain from December 23 to January 5 last year, but later she withdrew the petition filed in Delhi’s Patiala House Court.

Actress Nora Fatehi’s name is also included in this case along with Jacqueline. Nora Fatehi had reached Delhi’s Patiala House Court on January 13 in connection with the Rs 200 crore fraud case. He got his statement recorded in the court in the case related to Sukesh Chandrasekhar. In the past, while filing its charge sheet, the ED had said that Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi had taken many expensive gifts from Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Also, the ED had said that in December 2020, Nora Fatehi had gifted a BMW car from Sukesh Chandrasekhar, which was registered in the name of Mehboob Khan.
