Maruti Suzuki electric SUV eVX Design
Inspired by the ’emotionally versatile cruiser’ – the Concept EVX is a mid-size electric SUV. The concept has been designed and developed by Suzuki Motor Corporation Japan. In general, the vehicle measures 4300mm in length, 1800mm in width and 1600mm in height. The concept SUV features high ground clearance, rugged cladding on the exterior body and a lot more.
Planning to bring by the year 2025
Commenting on the global premiere of the Concept Electric SUV eVX, Toshihiro Suzuki, Representative Director and President, Suzuki Motor Corporation said, “Today I have an exciting announcement. I’m pleased to unveil the Concept EVX, our first global strategic EV. We are planning to bring it to the market by 2025. At Suzuki Group, addressing global warming is a priority. We are promoting a number of global measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from our business. One major measure is the reduction of CO2 emitted by using our products. Here in India, as announced in March last year, we will invest 100 billion rupees in the production of BEVs and their batteries.”
Speaking on the unveiling, Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO, Maruti Suzuki India Limited said, “For over 4 decades, Maruti has been spreading the joy of mobility in India. Also fulfilling the aspirations of millions of Indians.
Further adding that the Concept EVX is Suzuki’s first global strategic electric vehicle and is excited that it is debuting here in India. It brings exciting urban SUV styling through its sharp design language and purposefully reinforces our commitment to eco-friendliness and sustainability as a battery electric vehicle.
Maruti Suzuki also showcased its range of “sustainable” cars at the expo such as the WagonR flex fuel prototype, the Brezza S-CNG and the Grand Vitara Intelligent Electric Hybrid.
