Today is the second day of JEE Main 2023 session 1. The first shift for BE and B.Tech paper candidates was conducted from 9 am to 12 noon. The second shift will be conducted later in the day from 3 PM to 6 PM.
JEE Main 2023 Day 2 Analysis
Based on the initial review of the students, JEE Main Shift 1 paper today was Moderate to Difficult. While the students shared that the questions were mostly based on NCERT and prescribed syllabus, the paper was a bit difficult to solve.
Maths paper is the most difficult of all the three subjects in the first shift
According to Saurabh Kumar, Chief Education Officer (CAO) of Vidyamandir Classes (VMC), in terms of difficulty, Maths was the most difficult among all the three subjects, followed by Chemistry and then Physics.
How many questions need to be attempted in JEE Mains
JEE Main Paper 1- In BE, B.Tech, there will be two sections in each subject (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) carrying 90 questions for 300 marks. Section A will have 60 MCQs and Section B will have 30 questions, the answers to which are to be filled in the form of numerical values. Engineering candidates will have to attempt 5 questions out of 10 and there will be negative marking for both Section A and Section B.
