Jai Shah had said that the Asia Cup would be held at a neutral venue.

Last year, BCCI secretary Jay Shah had said that the Asia Cup would be held at a neutral venue and also indicated that Team India would not travel to Pakistan for the 2023 Asia Cup. After that top officials of the Pakistan Cricket Board said that such a decision could impact Pakistan’s decision to travel to India for the ODI World Cup later this year.
