Bollywood: For the First Time Public Holidays Have Been Declared in Hindi Film Industry

From 26 January, 15 August, Holi-Diwali to all other public holidays, who doesn’t like to celebrate! Often employed people consider them as their entitlement. However, there are some professions where there is no such thing as public holidays. Till now Hindi cinema was also included in this list. Yes, cinema is a world where no day off is fixed. The film is shot every day. Scripts are written every day, work on films continues. However, now public holidays will be celebrated in the Hindi film industry as well! Public holidays have been announced for the first time in the history of Hindi cinema.

The Federation of Western India Cine Employees has released the list of compulsory holidays for the year 2023. A total of 12 holidays have been announced throughout the year. Every month the stars will get a public holiday. In these, Republic Day (January 26) will be a holiday in the month of January. At the same time, on February 18, a holiday will be given for Mahashivratri. In the month of March, there will be a holiday of Holi (March 8). There will be a holiday for Ramadan Eid on 22 April. Labor Day holiday on May 1, Eid holiday on June 29 and Moharram holiday on July 29 has been announced.

Independence Day (15th August) holiday has been declared in the month of August. And in September, the stars will get a holiday for Ganesh Chaturthi. Dussehra in October, Diwali holiday for one day in November and Christmas Day holiday has been announced in the last month of December.

The announcement of public holidays for the first time in the film industry is commendable. Not only film stars, but all the workers working in the film industry will also get benefit from them. It will be interesting to see how film personalities react to this.
