Bollywood actor Abhay Deol is in discussion these days for his series ‘Trial by Fire’. This series is being praised all around. So, in the same sequence, during the promotion of the film, Abhay Deol, while talking to the media, shared some things about his previous films and also broke the silence on the allegations made by Anurag Kashyap about two and a half years ago.
In an interview in the year 2020, Anurag Kashyap claimed that working with Abhay was ‘painfully difficult’ and extremely difficult and that Anurag did not have good memories of working with him. Anurag Kashyap had accused Abhay Deol that his behavior on the sets of the film ‘Dev D’ was not good. In an interview given in 2020, Anurag Kashyap said that working with Abhay Deol has been a very painful experience. He also said that apart from artistic films, Abhay Deol also wanted to do mainstream films. He wanted to take advantage of being a ‘Deol’ and used to stay in a five star hotel during the shoot of the film while the entire crew lived in Paharganj to suit the tight budget of the film. He also said that because of this many directors distanced themselves from him.

Abhay Deol has now denied these statements of Anurag Kashyap. Speaking about the allegations leveled against him during a recent interview, Abhay Deol said, ‘Anurag Kashyap is a toxic person, I never asked for a room in a five star hotel. Anurag lied that he had asked for a five star hotel room during the shooting of Dev D. When the truth was that he himself came to me and told me, listen you cannot stay with us, you are a Deol star. So, I want to put you up in a five star hotel room. Anurag had told me this, not that I had demanded from him.

Taking the conversation forward, Abhay Deol says that Anurag Kashyap has taught him a lot. Due to this he decided to stay away from such toxic people who call themselves filmmakers but are liars and toxic. He says, ‘I have also warned many people about him.’ Along with this, Abhay Deol also revealed that when Anurag Kashyap had said absurd things about him. After that he also sent her a sorry message, which she accepted. They didn’t want to have any professional agenda against him.
